“The Tournament(s)"

• The Young World Northcoast Streetball Tournament was established by Pastor Tracy Shoemo and Bro. Andre’ Seavers in 2000. Each year this event attracts thousands of spectators. We anticipate another record crowd for July 2008! There will be two (2) tournaments taking place over the course of the weekend.
  
  
• The 3-on-3 youth tournament will be held on Friday July 11th. There are 4 divisions of competition: Grades 5th-6th, 7th-8th, 9th-10th, and 11th-12th. Each participant will receive a free T-shirt and a medal of participation. Trophy/plaques will be awarded to division champions and runner-ups. The entry fee is $150 but each youth participant plays for free as local businesses, churches, and individuals sponsor youth teams. Our goal this year is to register 48 sponsored youth teams.
  
  
• The 5-on-5 adult tournament will be held on Saturday, July 12th and Sunday, July 13th. Each team will be required to pay an entry fee of $300. The Grand Prize for the contest will be $1,000 for the winning team, in addition to the championship trophy.
  
  
• Also, on Sunday afternoon, there will be a Slam Dunk contest which has proven to be a highlight in years past

Everyone can "Get in the Game" Become a Tournament Sponsor/Partner

Becoming a sponsor of the Young World Northcoast Streetball Tournament allows young people to participate who otherwise may not be able to afford the $150 entry fee. Many young people in our community have participated in years past thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. All sponsors will have their name printed on event t-shirts and will be mentioned by name from the stage.

The Nehemiah Partners are also seeking more Partners to help fulfill our vision of uniting our community. Becoming a partner supports all of the other programs mentioned on the inside of this brochure and other programs/events in the proposal/development stage. Individuals, churches and businesses can pledge support in the following areas:

1. Pray for God’s wisdom, guidance and provision.
2. Promote our organization and our programs.
3. Provide financial support.
4. Participate through volunteering.
